I am a newbie with the breeds but have had chickens long time, is the Ayam Cemani the ones who lay super dark eggs?I have 14 blue/black/splash Ameraucana in mine as well, LOL. Such beautiful birds, and the few I've met have such mild and quirky personalities. All 14 are still growing per my 7 day candling, too!
On an interesting note...I had found my eBay vendor for the Ayam Cemani on Facebook. I sent him the link to my candling video. He offered a FULL replacement of the 6 egg order...plus 2 eggs. For the same cost of shipping. $9.99. I told him it was unnecessary, and if he wanted he could send me 2 eggs just to cover the unfertilized ones...but he was insistent...so I sent him $12 to cover fees as well lol. Anyhow...he asked me if I would take a final egg his hen laid today (to round it out to 9 total). He said this egg was from a new bird and blood line in his Ayam Cemani program, but that it would be dumb for him to tie up his 250 egg incubator for one egg. He said she's a young bird, and it may not even hatch...but if I'd like to give it a try he'd send it over.
Of course, I agreed! So now we have 9 more Ayam Cemani to watch (with a special egg we can all root for lol)...and I'm probably keeping that second (the only NEW) Ver 2 NR360 incubator lol.
Fun stuff!

Can I borrow one of you guys' Nurture Right after you're done using it? Thanks.

As @CluckNDoodle said, they lay small cream to white or pinkish tinted eggs. If you scroll up a bit you'll see me candling 11 of them last night.
We're up to 4 chicks now, out of 13 eggs remaining in the incubator as of lockdown. I don't think any of the Ayam Cemani will make it...and at least one more Ameraucana is pipping. If that one lives it'll be 5/12. Three blue, one splash.
I'm hoping for more though!!
