Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

ok. I know depending on where they are in the incubator will depend on how hot or cold so wasn't sure what was too hot for them. didn't want to go over that. :)

can veins get harder to see? S9 the one that is med was hard to see the veins to start (for me anyways) but today I thought maybe I saw less than before. but I could see the chick and it looked to be moving around so guessing still alive..... I am on day 6. and thought I read the chicks get harder to see at some point because they move further into the egg? Not sure when this is.

As the chick fills the egg it will become harder to see because it's dark but you should still be able to see them well at day 6. If it's a dark egg, heavy bloom, porous, or thick shell, all of those things make it more difficult to see though.

Here is screen shots from my govee thermometer/hygrometer.

The first one was the first few days which seemed a bit low so I bumped it up. The 2nd was after I bumped it. It looks good now right? Not sure what the 45 min over 101 was? It was the middle of the night so no reason to go that high.

It's weird, but even with the forced air there is variability depending on where the thermometer is at the moment. If it is in one of the egg slots it moves throughout the day, so the temp changes at different spots in the incubator. At least that's my experience with the Govee. When I moved it to the center of the incubator, on the hub of the turning wheel, it registered a 1° to 1.5° higher.

mine is now sitting on the egg turner think between the 2 rows of eggs.... can't remember right now if that is right but think so. I know the fluctuation in temps was fine just wanted to be sure that there are no spots too hot or too cold and that the temp I have the incubator now is where it should be and not the lower temp it was at.

Nothing will be sitting in those hot or cold spots for very long so it should be just fine. I've never needed to adjust any of mine and I have still had great hatches. It's a pretty forgiving incubator.

when I had it set at 100.5 the average seemed to run about 98.6 or so. that is why I bumped it up to 101 now the average is about 99.5-99.8 or so.
