Did you open up this bird to see if it was clogged with the lentils?

I did and it was, but wouldn’t the grit have prevented that? (They were without store grit for about a week but had access to a run for the natural stuff)

Where was the clog?
Digestive granite grit works in the gizzard.

You know, I’m not sure now if the crop would be considered clogged or just full as I’m not sure how all that works and looks. It wasn’t compacted. I’m very new to chickens (I inherited these only 4 months ago) and up to this point they’ve done very well.
