Harvey the Great is Dying. . .

Sorry about Harry the Great. He is a handsome rooster. I would try some vitamin B complex in tablet form or liquid. Thiamine (B1) sometimes will stimulate the appetite. If you have Poultry NutriDrench, that would work as well. Giving him some while on the roost at night could be a a possibility. I wear a handlamp with the red light on to go into the coop at night if I have to medicate birds.
No need for a headlamp at my place. The feed shed has a motion light that illuminates the run. Harvey sleeps outside on his roost so I can see fine! Good Idea though! So many of you are such good idea thinkers! :rolleyes:

I hope Harvey recovers on his own! Just read this thread, and he sounds like such a nice guy. I'm rooting for him and you!
Thank you, Harvey is a sweet rooster and very huge! I've had bad roosters before and good ones too, but he has been the best!

I would if it is truly cheap! I know that I pay $7 to send a 4x4 inch package to my grand girls, with stuff in it that only cost me $4!! Do you have more information?
I am pretty sure your state lab only charges $20.
@casportpony Can you confirm?

Sending husband to the store to get children's vitamins. He watched with me as Harvey walked out of the run this morning. He seems more willing to try to do something to save Harvey now. We will (I hope) try to help him this afternoon sometime. If nothing works I'd like the determination of why he died if possible. I will look into the California labs available for this. Thanks all for your information and support, this has/is quite an emotional rollercoaster! I'm feeling :hit today.
