Really, the Naked Necks are fine in the winter. One member in Colorado breeds them, very hardy in 6,000' elevation winters, according to them. I can't remember their name at the moment.

Yeah, stuff that seems great on paper just doesn't always work out. If you keep going at it maybe u could find another way...or maybe it just isn't meant to be.I actually loved the idea, it just didn't work in theory. Unfortunate
