Has any one made a Cornish cross Naked Neck?

You would need to Feed Restric the CornishX hens so they don't die before they start laying. Do you have better pics of the NNxCornish cross?

Yes. That is how the completely featherless chickens were made, although it took many years and countless breedings. I think that would be an ideal crossing, both are great meat breeds.

Really, the Naked Necks are fine in the winter. One member in Colorado breeds them, very hardy in 6,000' elevation winters, according to them. I can't remember their name at the moment.

That's the most insane chicken I've ever seen...may be the meat bird of the future, though I wouldn't want to have one...

They're not the future, they stopped creating them because they weren't worth the cost to maintain and couldn't be bred naturally

Welp, just goes to show we can't make something better than God can. They look like they'd suffer a lot without feathers, anyway

I actually loved the idea, it just didn't work in theory. Unfortunate

Ah man I thought I mad the first one. I thought the guy that made them took some kind of gen by doing surgery on them. I have pictures of mine nacked neck Cornish cross cross.
