Has any one tried Almond milk?

Yes, but it I haven't noticed much difference when using it, and have such a bad memory remembering to take it.
Have you tried goat milk instead?

Not yet,but that I think might be the next thing to try.

If the lactaid isn't really helping, then it may be a allergy to the protein in cows milk, not a lack of milk sugar enzymes. Husband can't eat duck eggs, but is fine with chicken eggs. maybe an allergist can shed some light. I predict a dairy goat in your future.

good luck with this!

Have one, neither me or my mom like him (we keep expecting him to die in the middle of the appointment, he is old and not in good health), and neither of us can read much of his hand writing, but I'm allergic to about every thing except for meat, nuts, and a couple other things.(I'm allergic to almost all of my pets too)

I wish, my mom says no more animals except maybe some fish. I have already tried to talk her in to goats. (I'm not allergic to goats

The vanilla is good but very sweet. The plain does have an odd taste but I don't mind it. I would mix half regular milk and half plain almond milk until I got used to it. Haven't tried the chocolate. From the research I did, it is one of the better substitutes for cow's milk in regards to protein etc.

I like the vanilla almond milk. I buy it when I find it on sale.Kids will drink it,but choose cow milk over the almond.

Have you tried making oat milk? It is very easy to make and creamy....almost too creamy! Add whatever sugar you like...maple,agave,or fake sugar.

Also I don't know if you could handle it(or like it) but lifeway kefir products are great.I like plain but they sell a lot of flavored varieties.Made with milk or soy. 10 different healthy bacteria. I give it to my kids like a dose of meds since gut health is so important to overall health.Dd likes it,but my ds acts like I AM giving him yucky medicine.

Almond milk is quite good....but I agree it's not *quite* milk. It does a good impression, though.

As for the goat's milk, I have had that, too. It tastes a bit 'hairy' to me, and it took a bit of getting used to, but it was also pretty good.
