Has anybody replaced this nipple waterer's nipples with drinker cups?

Was curious if anyone has done so, thinking about changing to this type.

I tried the vertical nipples and HATED THEM. They would leak all the time and form a puddle under the waterer. Bought these ones a couple months ago before it got cold and i absolutely love them. They don’t leak and if they do, there’s a little piece where it kind of puddles but not much. We used a cheap 5 gallon bucket and attached them to it.

How do you set this system up in a brooder? I haven’t gotten my chicks yet (I’m a newbie btw) and am thinking of building a brooder out of a large box.

I haven’t used this system for a brooder yet, we used the regular chick waterer from tractor supply. BUT, i’ve seen people use a cheap kids water bottle, or we have a plastic container we got from dollar tree that we use for holding the oyster shells. Both could work as a watering system

In my opinion why don’t you just get two 5 gallon buckets with the drinking cups? It’s probably cheaper
I don't have many places to hang, or set them on. So, I wanna try something before I try something else. It also holds more than 5 gallons.
