i have 3 adult hens right now, but I want to purchase a larger run for my flock expansion in the near future. I was debating building one from scratch, but I think with my work schedule, it's going to be difficult to build my own.

I'm going to buy a prefab coop and run, but I have no idea what to get for $600 or under. I want to keep anywhere between 8 to 10 birds, some of which will be bantams.

I found this on Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lovupet-...&wl9=pla&wmlspartner=wlpa&wmlspartner=wmtlabs (sorry for the ugly link).

It has no reviews, and I don't recognize the brand. What do you guys think? Should I take a gamble and get it?

That actually looks like a pretty nice prefab as it one of the largest coop/run versions I have seen. Won’t be good for 8-10 but definitely for your three and maybe more. I can’t find dimensions for the coop itself though. Do you free range during the day or will they be in this coop/run full time? What breeds do you have / want to get?

I have a TSC prefab and the reason I bought it was for a grow out coop for littles and as a bachelor pad for Sir Samuel. The one you linked to is a good size, but the companies who build these overstate how many chickens they can hold. IF you decide to get this, build a heavy frame to sit it on and attach it too. Mine is on a 4x4 base and attache to it with L brackets, made it way more stable and solid.
Another option for you to look at would be this, since you don't have time to build your own, and they would last WAY longer than your first option.

There are more out there, this link is just an example. Google prefab chicken coops California, you have options :)

The dimensions we're something like 143.3" x 66.5" in the run area. It didn't list dimensions in the coop, though

i like to think about the Tuff Shed buildings, either Home Depot or Lowe's has similar if not Tuff Shed. Dream dream dream

I actually found a customizable she'd on HD's website. It's basically the frame, roof, and doors, and you install walls using whatever materials you want. It's 8'x10', and the total cost I was looking at for the shed and other materials was under $500. I'm thinking if getting it
