The tree squirrels that come into our chicken area warn my girl's now.

Those squirrels give on call and eveyone runs for the covered run.

My parent's have Guinea Fowl that keep an eye out for danger at their place.


BTW Faverolle the subject of those pictures are sad but BEAUTIFUL job on them!!

Yep. I lost Miss MoneyPenny, a bantam Cochin/Silkie mix, to a juvie redtail on my Anniversary last year.

I agree on the pics...sad but beautiful...

Oh yes, I have had one even try to snatch a full grown chicken with me standing right there! I thought they only went after the "little ones" until then....

Not ever got any chicks or ducks.But have had hawks,owls,eagles to scoop down and take off baby goats.And if they can take them off ,u know thye can take off chicks and ducks etc.

It is a very sad thing to see and can`t get to them in time,,,
