Has anyone bought goslings from Ideal Poultry?

We
If you have any Poultry Nutir Drench it can be given straight into the mouth and is really good for lil one that are having difficulty you can use a syringe with out the needle and gently release small amounts in the front of the mouth never down the throat. I'm so sorry.

He's just so weak. We don't have any poultry nutir drench.. Never seen or heard of it either.. We're just going to have them send us more..

Do you have any suspicions as to what is wrong?  Is it related to hypothermia?

They're so weak and refuse to eat anything. They were showing signs of stress when we picked them up at the post office.. Maybe got sick.. We're not sure.. Can only hope and make the hatchery send more like they promised if anything went wrong with them..

Well don't just sit there and wait for them to die mix up some warm water and sugar and very carefully syringe it into their mouths. Try all you can.

We aren't just sitting here waiting for them to die. We've been giving him sugar water and even tried mashing up chick feed and water and he just won't..

wish I could help and my frustration came through. Before you get your next group of replacements try and get some Poultry Nutri Drench to have on hand. It's much better than sugar water. How are things this morning?

He's too weak, and there's no where around us who carries it. Even if we were to order it, it would never come in time.. We're just going to have to let him get rest and let the girls help him out. They mother him even though they're almost a week old.. This has been a terrible week. My grandmother passed away Saturday.. So not only do I have to deal with Ricky and Clyde(my goslings) I have to deal with our family loss. Thoughts and prayers for Ricky would be nice, but he's just way too far gone now..

I'm so sorry that's a lot to have to deal with. Maybe order the PND so you have it on hand it's great for molting birds too. Birds under stress like at shows. TSC carries it. or the one closest to me does anyway.

So very sorry for your losing your Grandmother also

The two females are acting just like normal happy goslings. The new boys should be here Friday. Bonnie(saddleback) acts like a big scary goose and "tries" biting me.. Lucy(buff) acts like she doesn't know why she has such big feet, and runs and thomps around. They're eating and drinking in their own. They cuddle him and try to keep him happy.. I just don't want to be the one to tell them he isn't going to make it.

we haven't really been holding the girls much so they freak out when we do hold them. But once everything gets better they'll be held and I'll try to imprint them on me and my mom.
