Also, seperate question real quick.... do black ducks getter hotter than yellow? Not to sound like a dummy but I've got 1 duckling, jet black, in there that keeps panting. I have lifted the lamp several times & the temp is getting too low now, but shes still panting. I gave some water to clean nares but not really making a difference. What would you do?

Well...about that. She IS pooping, but small amounts each time. Her 1st 3 pops were bright green, now is the normal tarnish color. But then again, I see 3 ducklings pooping and 1 duckling (her) pooping and I could be wrong
I would keep her separate for a while and check her poops.
The first ones being green is normal. . by now though if you see green poo I think that could possibly mean infection.

These are what she just pooped. Just to show comparison

Now that.. I don't know for sure but it stands to reason that they could get hotter.
I would just make sure that your heat source is in a place that they can get away from it to cool down.

Yes maam....I actually have them in a nice large area so they can definately get away. She seems better now, just didnt want the others getting too cold.

If there are any other videos or pics you need in a certain area of Joy (duckling), just let me know. I'm willing to do anything I can to help her..... And thank you all....I cant tell you how much I appreciate all your help.
I can't think of anything else to recommend. Your doing your best and that's all you can do! These things are just a shot in the dark with us guessing at what could be the trouble. Sometimes they just hatch with issues we can't fix too. . so don't beat yourself up if she doesn't make it. :hugs

Sorry for chiming in late, but could this be a case of not working balance?
There is that infamous video on the YT channel "A chick called Albert" where one of three Dutch Hookbill ducklings is unable to walk and topples over:
- Look at about 8 Minutes into the video. The duckling's balance could be "fixed" by restraining it for one night (i assume ~8 hours), using a sock.
Just an idea to think about.
