How’s things going with our little Joy today?
Well, @Miss Lydia & @DuckyDonna .... today was actually a great day, thanks for asking. She started out by eating a Big brkfst, then because it was warm out, I brought her outside (still wrapped in a blanket). We sat on the porch & she heard the birds chirping & for about 45min.sat & listened, she was chirping back & forth with them. It was really cute. She took a warm bath, moving her legs around. Ate a big lunch, dinner, & is now sitting up watching tv with daddy. Shes sort of made her own language to us too, she bows her head down for food or nips the tips of our fingers (from when I fed her wet mash on my fingertips) when shes ready for water, while eating, (if I havent given water yet) she wiggles her upper body...& it's no coincidence, shes been doing each exact thing for about a week now. Her chirping is getting a tad louder too, which is great:celebrate
Now, tho.......:( her legs do look pretty bad, so...getting very worried. They're bent back pretty bad. Thought about using 2 finger splints & slowly each day, bending a little more, OR.... just leaving so she wont bend them backwards anymore. I tried to exercise them a little bit today but 1 especially will hardly bend. I've got to figure something out Immediately.

That sounds like you've had a great day with your little bundle of Joy!

Be careful doing her leg exercises with her. There may not be anything you can do to stop this bending back of her legs. Does she react if it hurts? Maybe you could contact one of the vet schools and see if they'd have any suggestions for you.

How much does she weigh now?

Well, when I say leg excercises I should have been more precise. Really. I'm just checking things. I lightly massaged & felt around her joints & leg sections. Then I checked to see if theyd bend a Tiny bit. 1 slightly will, the other not so much. She does Not react to me bending them, as far a chirping or squealing.
