Has anyone bred Pekin and welsh harlequin ducks together??

I know went through it with my Muscovy drake that I hand raised because his mama rejected him. Sweetest little duckling ever until he turned around 4-5 months old oh boy. But I got good advice on here and used it Opie will be 9 yrs old this coming June the 2nd. And I still have to remind him from time to time to behave but he really is an awesome drake.

Hi, I know its late... is anyone awake? I'm worried about my baby Celeste. Shes coughing & sneaking & you can hear her breathing. When I sat down to rub her & try to comfort her, I noticed ed her beak was hotter than the others.... pretty hot actually. Does that mean anything? I think I have 1 more dose of antibiotics from Joy's Rx. Any ideas? I tried to give her some water to see if cleaning her nares would help but nothing. I hate seeing my babies in distress & am worried for her Thanks so much

Antibiotics need to be givin for a week or at a time so they build up in the system, one pill wont do anything

Raised body temps usualy means infection, what color is her poop?

Is she panting? is there mucus coming from her nares or mouth?
No mucus, no panting, nothing from nares. Poop is brown, maybe a rusty brown, a little runny. Looks like shes breathing a bit faster than rest too

Okay, Body temp is a funny thing with birds, it varies alot more than mammals, and varies between species, And its hard to check. They could be sick, or just exerted alotnof energy, or your hand was a little cold

Sometimes my ducks bills are very cold and sometimes realy warm

The quick breathing could be a response to pain, if shes not gurgling, or wheezing or coughing hopefully it will pass

i know its too late now but green goo makes an awesome soothing product for breathing i use
