Has anyone clicker trained a cat?

That's what I thought of when I read this!

Well Pat, we both know that only a... err.... well.... "misinformed person" would attempt it. It's one of those things you learn the hard way, if you get my drift

Cats CAN be trained! I have trained both, Yes, Both, of my cats to potty in the litter box on command

It wasn't easy, it took along time but it was accomplished.

I have also taught them to fetch and return, sit up and beg, and I taught my One to speak on command!

Who needs dogs when I can have catdogs!

I trained my cats with food, not a clicker so I don't know if that would work or not, you need to do what works for you.
Good Luck

My cat is trained very well...100% of the time, he is trained to come running when he hears the can opener.

I knew a barn cat who trained herself to use the toilet. She was quite accurate. Never figured out flushing, though, so she would sit there and mew loudly til someone came and did it for her. Showed a considerable aptitude for PEOPLE training, she did

Now *she* could probably have clicker-trained cats <g>

Pat

My cat has learned that ANY click means food. We have to be very carfull what noise we make other wise a hungry kitty will stock you for hours on end
