Has anyone clicker trained a cat?

My sister's cat isn't clicker trained, but he does do several tricks. His list includes (but not limited to, lol):
Fetch
Paw
Beg
Lay Down
Sit
Roll Over

He may know more, but those are the ones that I know of off the top of my head.

Does this count as a trick...when Theodore hears me opening his medicine bottle(he has an URI...poor baby) he runs under the couch...I would even say the bottle makes a click sound so now if I could only come up with a reason for him to be running under the couch other than the obvious...OH nevermind, I guess I'm grasping at straws here.....

LOL Cat's & training, what are they thinking, this will give the word futility a whole new meaning.

Hmmm He's a smart kitty. I think he wants to learn. He knows get off, no bite.
I think im gonna try it. I'll keep posting what happens. Im gonna work on sit first i think. He will do anything for his treats or a kiss from mommy. I need to get the clicker. I told my bf and she about peed herself laughing so hard.

I trained my cats with food, not a clicker so I don't know if that would work or not, you need to do what works for you.

Clicker training uses food as well, the 'click' marks the behavior, and the treat rewards it.

You can clicker train anything that you can reward. It even works for husbands!

I clicker trained my chickens with great sucess, and VERY modest expectations.

Besides luring you can also use shaping and capturing to get the desired behaviors.

You just have to find an appropriate reward, be it food, play, toy time, ect.
And kittens are very curious, so I would think it would work out really well. Just make sure you keep your sessions really short and your expectations reasonable.
