I have had hens with snoods that big. A tom's snood will extend far past the end of its beak.I cast my vote for Tom. That deep red and longer stood says boy to me
Do you have other boys?

Is it normal for a tom to not be gobbling at this age? I posted him in a Facebook group and they also think it's a tom.I'm not sure either. I have seen hens with just a very thin line of tiny feathers on the top of their head but I don't see any on the top of that one's head.
As far as not mounting any hens, here in the northern hemisphere, it is not yet breeding season.
It all depends on the conditions. Is it normal for a tom to not be gobbling at this age? I posted him in a Facebook group and they also think it's a tom.
