I’m hatching one egg it just pop! Mama is lavender olive egger hen and father is fibro EE. I think baby will most likely be black correct ?

Just wondering what the chicks would look like with a cross of a Lavender Orpington and an Easter Egger??
Your boy has slate gray legs. My EEers have green legs. Do they call him a EEer Egger because they consider him not a perfect ameraucana?

Even pure Ameraucana are considered "Easter Eggers" sometimes. Two different colors of Ameraucana will mix and produce Easter Eggers. Your birds are also EE

While it's true that EEs have alot of variation, the Extended Black base on the Lavender is very strong on it's self. In this case the EE pullet is a partridge based hen(eb) so when crossed with Extended Black from Lavender, this will produce All black chicks that may show some gold/silver leakage when grown up
Pictures? I have a Lavender orpington roo and a hen that was supposed to be a Jubilee Orpington but instead she's a Jubilee/EE/Partridge mix. I wasn't going to hatch eggs but I have a Buff Brahma who already acts broody so I'm seriously considering letting her hatch some, if all these other girls ever start laying. I'd love to see what your mixes look like!

Curious to what it looks like as an adult? I have a Lav Roo and we are just experimenting with crossing with our others too. We have crossed with Americauna, Lakenvelder, Rhode Island Red, White Leghorn and an Australorp. Anyone with pics would be so helpful! Also info about auto-sexing traits with a cross like these! I did see the thread about that, but just hoping for specifics on these breeds. Thank you!
