I bought 4 females and ended up with 2 roosters out of the four. I was in rooster denial for a while. One started crowing a couple weeks ago and the other one started last week. The first one had perfected crowing at the ripe old age of 9 weeks. The other one is still trying really hard.
Has anyone else ever gotten a rooster when buying pullets?
