Has anyone ever had a Delaware go broody?

Oh, yeah, they ARE the broody type.

Definitely. I've had three go broody so far this year, and two more are half-clucky now. It depends on the strain, but some are very broody.

Janet! I really hope the remaining 7 Dellies from your flock hatch. I need some broody types. Shhh, dont tell DH I said that, LOL.

Cyn, most of those eggs have broody on both sides of the family (the male is out of the broody in my avatar). So, I'd say you really have a good shot at it if you hatch any girls
