Has anyone ever had or heard of a chicken that NEVER laid an egg??

I have a 15 month old silkie that has not laid yet. Manhonri, have you tried keeping a light on 24/7 for a week or 2, I had some like that once and after 5 days they started laying and have not stopped, maybe just a fluke but give it a try.

That butch hen would get along well with my dainty roos - they're 6 months old and can crow their pants off but I haven't once seen them try for the ladies, though they do cuddle each other at night!
