Has anyone ever had their fortune read?

I have WHAT in my yard? :

I have had mine read many times. I have met some readers who were clearly very in tune and got awesome readings. I had some that were probably fakers or wannabes. So, I look for some one that has a good rep or that others I know have gone to.

One time my sister had a "reading party" the psychic was someone very expensive but she would do parties if there were 8 or 9 people and we split the cost. My then husband and I had been arguing on the way there about the color of our carpet. (This would be why he is an ex!) The woman walked into the room and completely ignoring the host's hand turned to me and said, "Knock off the arguing about the carpet color for heaven sake it's blue!" The color was a weird dark bluegreen. My mouth fell open and she said, "Let it go or I won't be able to read anything else off of you." That reading was freaky.

Another refused my money and said she would not read me. She said that I was as psychic as she was and I should be able to get the same messages on my own.

Only one was so dead accurate it still freaks me. She said I would lose my foundation soon and that I needed to know I would come out the other side. Then she said, "You will only marry once." I was already divorced so I was upset but she said legal marriage does not a marriage make. She told me I would marry when I was 36. She said I would have two kids. She said I would teach. She told me all of that when I was in my 20s and teaching was the farthest thing from my mind. Everyone of them came true. My mother passed away suddenly only a few months later. I got pushed into teaching by some one else and I love it.

If you get a good one record it or write down as much of it as you can and check on it on your birthday.....

Some people just THINK really loud. You sound like one of them. I don't know how else to describe it.

About 19 years ago a friend of mine had hers read at the State Fair..She wouldnt tell anyone what was said but went hog wild writing checks, buying stuff and went partying at a night club with her friends and collapsed on the dance floor! Her pacemaker quit! Too bad the psyic didnt tell her to have her pacemaker checked then she would be raising her precious children herself instead of her mom raising them!

Psychics are scam-artists who prey upon the gullible and the foolish because it is easier than getting a real job. Just like priests.

Remember that we live in a world in which there has been not one verified example of supernatural phenomena. Not. One.

Save your money.

Save your money for what?

I had mine read in Memphis when my dh and I were just starting to date. She said I would not marry the man I was dating and I guess, looking back, we were both a little different back then

. Also that I would have 3 sons. Well, I only have one son, but my daughters have "boyish" names. I wish she would have told me I would one day become addicted to chickens. I would have started saving my money back then!

so, hey, in a way I guess we all should be saving our money. We could buy and keep more chickens!

Funny this topic would come up. I use to work for another Real Estate agency that had the MOST charming broker you would ever hope to meet. She told me one time she went to a fortune teller and was told she had 10 guardian angels around her, and a bunch of other stuff. It did seem like what she was told was coming true, but then after one incident she turned into the most evil, two-faced person God ever blew breath into, and I had a big laugh about those guardian angels hovering around her . . .surely they would have had ONE get on her shoulder and whisper in her ear that she was being a real #$$#@#@# and she needed to straighten up her act!!! Sad thing is, she divorced her husband just so she could go to college on OUR dime, but he gets to live with her in a $180,000+ home and get a link card and medical cards . . .just doesn't seem fair. This is why I believe in Karma. Some day. . .

My mom had hers read years and years ago, and was told she would have four children. She and dad had my oldest sister who will be 82 in Dec., 9 years later here came my brother who just turned 72, 6 years later came my other sister who just turned 65 and 9 years later I came along when mom was 45 and Dad was 50. She always laughed and said she thought that FT was wrong, until I came along.

I have mixed emotions about getting mine, because I had deja vu (did I spell that right?) when I was younger so badly that it drove me nuts for awhile, and I was always afraid of what they might tell me.

LOVED the story about the dog . . .
