Has anyone had success after a temp hike?

They are hatching!! I have three now piped. Wow--I feel lucky to get that many

It's true, we've had chicks hatch when it's like 110+ outside for weeks.

I had the temp spike to 107 on day 17 lost two chicks but I hatched 20 out of 24 eggs, and the babies where fine other wise (2 died in the temp spike and 2 where infertile/never developed)

I've got 16 eggs in the bator---one chick is out completely, 3 piped.

I woke this morning to find 4 out and 1 more piped!!! 2Americanas and 2 Orphington crosses

I had a temp spike last night to 104, so not sure how long it was like that, and then had a temp drop to 93 and I have 2 pipped now.

So, glad your kiddos are going to be so excited....
