Has anyone heard of....

On most breeds you can't tell until they are between 2/3 months old. The males will be bigger and their combs develop sooner. The feathers are different but you can't tell as chicks.

I once watched on "How Its Made" where they sexedthem by looking at the feathers of their wings,where the females would have different lenghthed rows of feathers and the boys all equal but you need to have them bred for that to actually be accurate i believe...
