they always get their game food as their main diet, but i thought i would add something new, so i boiled some eggs and then put them in the chopper and chopped them with the shells on added some seeds some oats and meal worms mixed them all up again, the quails went mad for it, and it's high in protein, so win win. i am always getting left over eggs now i know what i can do with them.

Last time I had quail, I gave them the same homemade fermented feed that I gave my ducks. It was a similar mix to yours- grains, seeds, lentils, and veggies, soaked in a bucket of water for a few days till it started to bubble. My ducks always loved it, but my quail leftover everything but the lentils and sometimes the grains. They didn't seem to like eating wet food or maybe they just didn't like the sour fermented taste.
