Sadly, no. Though it would make a better story than meeting my husband on Match.com.....which is indeed how we met. At least he turned out to be a guy who wants chickens! Good enough for me. Now if only we had the appropriate land to determine his susceptibility to goats, sheep, alpacas, cows.....

I like the story mentioned in one of my chicken books of a man leaving an engagement ring for his girlfriend to find in the nest box when she went to collect the eggs. Such a cute method....unless the ring were somehow lost, pooped on, etc....
