Has Anyone ordered Americanas/Araucanas From Mcmurray Hatchery?

I don't have experience with MM hatchery but I do know that Cackle offers Black Ameraucanas this year They are very pretty birds!

Interesting. That's a new development and another hatchery based source of true Ameraucanas other than Meyer.

Cackle Hatchery bought LF black Ameraucana chicks from me to start their flock and were mainly interested in large blue eggs, because their original plan was to use them to cross with their Easter Eggers to produce "bluer" eggs.

I ordered three started pullet Easter Eggars and one australorp from McMurray hatchery, they were delivered the end of January. No eggs yet. Here are some bad pictures of them I will try to get some better ones tomorrow.

thanks. I was glad to get three different colors. I really didn't have much of an idea of what an Easter egg or look like. I keep hearing that the black and white ones are male, I hope they're wrong. I haven't heard any crowing yet.

This is Betsy, she came from Murray Mcmurray. She was gorgeous and sweet and layed pretty light blue eggs. Unfortunately she hopped the 6 foot fence and our Border Collie mix got her. A very sad day. She was my favorite.
