Has Anyone Ordered Naked Necks From Ideal?????

I love my birds from Ideal. I have 14 LF brahmas. Very healthy. I've lost one of the birds, most likely due to a heart attack, in the two years I've had them.
You shouldn't expect show quality out of birds from a hatchery, ANY hatchery. I was fortunate in that my dark brahma roo turned out nice enough to be shown, as did two of the dark brahma hens. They are absolutely fine for a backyard flock.
I will be ordering a mixed bag this time around - a few easter eggers, some speckled sussex, a few salmon faverolles and the naked necks. You pay a small charge for a mixed order, but worth it to me. I don't plan to take delivery until May when our weather is more stable.
If you wait until warm weather and don't want packing peanuts (males added for warmth), just tell them and you can pay a small postal insurance charge (like $2) and skip the males.
One of Ideal's great employees is a BYC member. She will gladly answer any PMs with questions you might have. Her member ID is idealpoultry.

Awesome! i know i cant get show quality, but ive been lucky a couple times too.

Thank you! i just figured out i could send here a message by typing in her user name, but oh well. lol i dont send messages often. Can you tell?

I agree with gritsar that it is not deceptive for them to be classified as tinted. Tinted just means not white or brown. It doesn't mean blue or green. Lots of chickens are classified as tinted that don't lay blue or green eggs.
