Has anyone read "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle"?

Buster, I'm going to the library to get Animal, Vegetable, Miracle. Sounds like a good book. Reading your posts on the Okie Forum has gotten me motivated to be more self sufficient. Years ago we had a huge garden, processed our own poultry, pork and beef. We started getting away from that over the years. We are going to start living more like we used to. Thanks for the nudge.

Well, thanks, Brick. I talk like that mostly to motivate myself, though. It's as if by saying I'm going to do it, it is easier to follow through. I will be picking your brain when we get to raising our own pigs and possibly small cows, so be ready.

And you are going to enjoy that book. A purposeful memoir written by one of America's best storytellers.
