Our 2 year old rooster Foggy Bottom has developed a strange condition on his earlobe skin appears to be scabbed up and peeling off. The condition came on in a 2 day period and now on day 3. Our chicken accomodations are 1/2 acre paddock shared with llamas and goats with the chicken house is 8x5' for 9 ladies and rooster.
We treated it with some SuperSalve and it does not seem to be getting worse. Aside from some molting patches, he is eating, pooping, drinking, crowing, servicing the ladies....all seemingly normal.
Any thoughts or experience anyone can share is much appreciated. Including some pictures. Thank you.
