Has anyone seen this before on a chick?

First time I have raised little chicks from hatching and one of my chicks has what looks like sore bits on its back
If anyone knows what it is or any help with what to do please

I have been using some of this Poultry Antibacterial Powder putting on with cotton buds

It looks like the other chicks are picking their feathers out. In an adult chicken, I would suggest an apron, but I don't know in a chick. Try providing activities for the other chicks so they have something else to do.

ok only hatched 2 chicks so only one other chick, the one chick in the picture is the smaller chick - they seem to get on with each other but some squawks in night under heat plate - as the cage is on my bed

Make sure your heat plate isnt too low, when they settle down it shouldnt touch them at all.

don't think it has, have been raising the heat plate up will raise up bit more the other chick looks ok and is a small bit bigger than the one with a saw back
will check though

Your heat plate should be 3 inches above the chicks head while there standing, they should not be able to make any contact with it. They look 2 weeks old.

chicks are 3 weeks old now, have raised heat plate more this morning in case, I know the little chick had a few less fethers a small bit on one area on the back when hatched and dry
