Will repeat title here to accentuate:
Has anyone used an EcoGlow Brooder outside in temps lower than 50°F.
Looking only for specific experiences.
Please do NOT reply unless you've used it outside in temps lower than 50°F.

It wasn't an EcoGlow Brooder but a Titan Incubator. Same concept.
It's a 12"x12" and I brooded 15 chicks under it. It got down into the 20s at night. Coldest night was 23. I tucked it into the corner of the built-in brooder with the solid walls and tossed an old bath towel over it to make it cave like. They did just fine.

Does the Titan have the same "use above 50F" instructions or is it rated for lower temperatures?

I recycled the package and literature long ago but the website information has no reference to not using it in below 50 weather. IMO, that is a CYA statement for EcoGlow.

i have the Producer's Pride brooder plate from TSC, and nothing on the package mentions lowest temps for use. This is also my question, having three chicks hatched 12 December, and i want them out there in the coop pretty soon. Ambient temps likely to dip into the teens F in January. Need opinions!

Go by @DobieLover's setup, be ready with lamp if needed.
