Has anyone used Southern States Sporting bird starter?

Has anyone used southern states sporting bird starter? I contacted a local mill that seemed to suggest they mill their own feed, but when I asked for an ingredient list he told me it was Southern States and gave me a link.

the guaranteed analysis seems very sparse, so I’m wondering if anyone uses it?

I’m sorry I should have said, the owner of the store said he can order me unmedicated of the same thing.

Then it sounds good once you get the ingredient list. I have been searching for a higher protein feed myself. I found one that looked good until I read the ingredient list and it contained things like garlic, which can be toxic to birds.

The only ingredient list he had was the guaranteed analysis on that page. I’m looking online to try and find a better list.

I can’t find anything, not even a product photo of the bag back that I can zoom in on. This is made by Cargill it seems, so I emailed them to request an ingredient list.

I just realized I’m being crazy over less than $20. I’m just gonna order a bag and I’ll see how the Myshire snowies do on it. Since I will have so many at once I was really looking for a cheaper food than my current chick feed. Worst case scenario I have to order more snowies I guess lol.

The shop owner found a pdf of the feed bag tag, they would have to order it so they had none in store just to look at.

I think I’ll definitely order the starter, I may try the developer and mix the two if they don’t look like they’re getting enough protein.

I don't see any of the ingredients that ring my alarm bells (such as DE or garlic).
