If the chicks hatch on a weekend then I would keep going to check on everything. When are your eggs due? This is so nerve racking!

Mine are due May 8 When I incubated my chickens, they hatched out on days 20-22, so it was pretty on-point according to schedule.

There are 10 days left! All eggs have movement, but one or two are a little "iffy."

I candled again this evening and all eggs seem to have movement and be alive! I can't wait, but I guess I'm gonna have to! There are 9 days left! (It's day 17!)

Candling results: All 16 eggs still have movement! The ducklings are getting so big that you can't see into the eggs very well, though. Some eggs have dark "black" (dark red) spots in them, but I'm not sure what they are (there's still movement in the eggs).

This is my second hatch, but sadly last time 3 only hatched and two of them died

The one that survived is now my broody hen, who is waiting for her chicks to hatch!!

I really want to get a few ducklings, but I think I'm am going to concentrate on my chickens this year
