So a little over a week ago, I posted a thread about 2 of my girls going broody at the same time as I had put 48 eggs in my bator... because the girls went broody on the same day I snuck a few eggs underneath them. unfortunately while trying to help my 9 year old turned the heater on in my bathroom while I was at work the temperature rose incredibly high and basically killed at the babies in my bator. =/
well the due date is on the 19th for my broody girls and I candled the eggs last night. to my surprise I only had to remove 2 eggs (blood rings) I was able to see the little guys... or girls moving around in the eggs. So fingers crossed I might have some new babies after all!!!
like my husband said leave the girls alone chickens have been hatching eggs with out people assistance for thousands of years lol
soooo incredibly happy I almost cried last night lol
