My pair have taken to hiding their eggs

SAME mine were laying in one spot and now I don't know were they are laying (They are free range so that makes it kinda hard to find them )

It's a duck conspiracy! All ten of my hens are hiding theirs..I think someone told them I have the bators up and running..

Neat. I will be running my bators nonstop until the husband tells me I have to stop. Currently having to use shipped eggs so if I get 50% hatch rate I will be absolutely amazed.

I've never done shipped eggs before, we have a really careless postal service so id be terrified of trusting them with eggs lol! If you hide the chicks your husband will never know how many you have !

But see I like yarn too and I can not lie about chicks to him if I want more yarn to play with. He insists we need more chickens as we go through 3 dozen a meal for the boys. Then there are the pigs who love hardboiled eggs. They want a dozen each.
If I can manage to get enough that I can sell some I will be happy.

I'm not even sure these are good. I found em in a nest outside and left em for 2 days hoping for more. They we're on to me....but we had a couple of pretty cold nights..
