We use to have a bearded dragon. Have had parakeets, guinea pigs, and fish. The one dog is a rodent hunter, so no more rodents. I also will not allow any snakes, spiders, scorpions, tree frogs, etc.
She has a fish too. I have a parakeet..lol
No snakes or other creepy crawlies here either...:sick

I tend to want to save all the cats. I am also an animal person. I want to get Anatolian shepherd pups I found that are priced reasonably. Husband says he will think about it. Bet he already called about them and may show up in three weeks with a pup or two
Sounds just like me! I have an Old Fashion German Shepherd and two Australian Shepherds. My GS still doesn't like my chickens, but my AS love them!

No kidding?? I've wanted a rat for so long :weethat will be my next pet if I could ever convince my dad they weren't gross.. he hates them. I suppose I'm probably full up on pets right now :gigThere's a possibility I'll be adopting a baby goat later with growing issues, I'll need all the time I can spare with her
I was hesitant about the rat. But she's has been an absolute sweet heart and loves to be held. Very friendly!
Good luck with the little goat. I hope it's nothing serious..:fl
My flock outside are California Whites, Cuckoo Marans, Black Sex Link, and Buff Orpingtons. They all can get under the coop. They will not go into the coop, but under it is fine. LOL
Silly birds. :lau

Yes! Big time.
Perfect example of what isn't expected. But normal here...:lau

About what we have happened. MY cat who has since died was my best mouser. He would see a rodent or bug and he had to take it out.
He was in the rabbit barn one night. A rabbit I just purchased a few weeks before had babies. On the wire of the cage. I did not know she was pregnant so no nest box. Babies feel out of the cage to the floor below. Next morning I go in to find my mouser curled up on the floor with all 14 babies. He curled up with them and kept them safe and warm until I came to feed and water.
