Yup, only time will tell what the outcome will be. I hope they will be good egg- layers... Do you want them to be broody. I don't know anything about broodiness.... erm. So you would like them to be broody, but don't need them to be broody? And I think the egg- laying traits is only for colour.3D the chicks are now 3 weeks and look under Hope's chin because on 3 of mine I see red lines and I am guessing that is the waddles, and if what you are saying is true then my chicks should get the RIR egg laying traits and that is good they don't know what broody means, that is why the buff was good she went broody, but now that I have the bator we don't have to worry about that any more. But RIR still laid in the winter where as my buff has taken a break. But only God really knows what we will get and only time will revel it to us. I want to know now !!!![]()
