Hatch-Along - Eggs set in November, due December, anyone?

Kat and candy, sorry 4 my delay. I went down to Mexico on some family matter....I jst got in this morning. I'll talk 2 my neighbor and I'm pretty sure there is no problem regarding the eggs.

3D Hope looked much bigger than mine in pics.. hahaa... Idk kat what do you say?

I thought 9 and 10 are Roos too? Don't you think?

My broody, the one who hatched some of these chicks is broody since 12-13 days... and its hard to break it. In the past 8-9 months this is the 5th time she has gone broody. The next time I am putting turkey eggs in there and see what happens

Interesting, and I agree as of numbers 9 and 10 being roosters.

My babies are free ranging and staying close to home.

YAY! They are cuties! I actually have a few eggs going into lock-down tonight! (I don't think I actually told y'all!!) They are from a coop full of mostly Delawares (which is AWESOME!) and a few Ameracaunas and RIRs and Barred rocks mixed in as well as a few mYsTeRy breeds. I can't believe I didn't say anything about this earlier!?! Out of 12, I had 3 infertiles, and one dead (from being put on a temperature un- regulated shelf in the incubator since I had no space for it on the floor) So I technically didn't kill any (yet) that I expected to have grow. I think the trick is that the hens that I got them from were fed a much more nutrient rich diet from free- ranging, and also having the temperature at 102 in the still- air incubator as well as having a brooder ready and changing the spot where the eggs are every time I turn them so they develop equally. I think that's why they are doing so much better than my last hatch. They looked just like the goodexample pictures of candling when I candled them all throughout incubation! So I've learned a lot actually! :D

I get my eggs today, I'm so eggcited, course my husband said last hatch for a while, last year started with 4 chickens, now up to 17 and adding how ever many hatch, crazy, but I'm building my hens stock for eggs and I'm getting my candling license next month so I can sell my eggs at farmers markets, and have my refrigeration system already in line, so I need hens to give me eggs, about 45 minutes away I can sell my eggs for 8 dollars a doz. is that crazy or what.

Here is a picture on day 18. The air cells are too small. This was taken last night, and I decided to put off lock- down until tonight so the air cells could get a bit bigger. :

I mean, that is pretty tiny.

Good luck, I start on sat. I got a nice variety, Buff, Dominick's, Barred Rocks, RIR mixed with Red links, I think is what he said I will have new breeds when they hatch, I have the Buff and RIR already so I'm really looking forward to seeing if the others will hatch, should get something with 18 eggs.
