Hatch-Along - Eggs set in November, due December, anyone?

I don't have a humidifier. I just deal with the dry hands and face. lol

And I'm trying to get it up. :3

kats next time the broody is going into the incubator with them... LoL
My humidity throughout incubation was a steady 40% (give or take 2%) and temp was 100F that too remain stready enough(none of my thermometers showed the fractional readings, turning as I told earlier: "8 points on the egg.... so once I turn 4/8 and next its 5/8 turn, then 4/8, then 5/8 and so on..." as per the chart shared in post #123 of 552 on page 13

After lockdown, temp did not change, humidity: You should look for 60% humidity and then raise it by some other means by not opening the bator, so you can bring it upto 70% but then it falls to 60% because when a chick hatches he is wet and he take the humidity up by 7-9%
I used my 'sringe-aquarium pipe' setup to drop a little water on the floor of the bator to get it to 70% so that in 2-3 hours it would drop back to 60%.

3D that humidity range is not good enough for lockdown... you gotta do something

All of them died but one is still alive. I opened the others up and they were shrink wrapped I think. Bad luck :( wish I could have saved them in time. I'm hoping last little guy will make it

I keep spraying the inside and even outside of my incubator to raise the humidity. There is nothing else I can do but wait for it to rise up.

All the extra space in the incubator is full of water reservoirs or wicks from sterile gauze or face cloths. I hate the winter time.

Snowpetals sorry to hear about your loss, hopefully the last one will make it.

3D do you have a small bathroom you can move them to? run the hot shower and steam up the bathroom, maybe that will do it. Do you know anyone with a vaporizer the kind that holds water? put that near the bator, but not too close because that may lower the heat if it is the cool kind.

Well the last one made it halfway out before it died. But the chick was deformed anyway.. It had crossbeak and was literally missing one eye socket............
Do you think this was beyond my control? I had them shipped. Or can physical deformities be caused by the incubators?
Either way I'm going to toss this lg and get a hovabator Genesis next week. I haven't had great luck with this bator ever.

Hatching is amazing but at the same time heartbreaking. I feel responsible for the death of 10 fully formed embryos.
But I'm really glad I have four amazingly healthy babies out of this.
I'll take pictures soon... They really are adorable :)
