Beautiful! The first roo has the same comb as mine!
There is only a little bit left to do. I only took one picture while it was beginning to be built, but I don't think you can see much from that.ha ha ha ha, good to hear that, if the world is coming to an end, maybe that is where I should be staying ... and post your coop pics while it's under construction... maybe we'll learn something new from it...
haha My rooster has been crowing for a while, and I just laugh and tell him "Congratulations, you found your vice! Now put it back where it came from!" lol He just crows at me when I say that. Wouldn't it be nicer that if instead of crowing, roosters peeped in the morning?I remember pics of the second chick wow how they all changed. Mine that hatched in late Dec. have now just started to learn to crow, wow some really need lots of practice or a throat lozenge. I'm still waiting on the hens to start laying, their combs have just really started to turn red, red, so it will be soon.

Good thing the chickens weren't in there!!!Hello everyone,
I have to rebuild my chicken coop we had major flooding and it washed my coop away I have not even found any part of the coop, it is like it never existed, we didn't have any fencing around it but it took two men to move in and mother nature a couple of minutes to take it away. But I still have one coop, the one that is gone was for my chicks that were too young to be put with the rest of the flock. I didn't lose any chickens I had them put up very high and the chicks which are about 8 or 9 weeks old were put into my spare bathtub. The water came up so fast my husband and I and our 3 dogs had to be rescued by boat. Talk about a crazy day and night and then the clean up began and is almost back to normal. Didn't have a lot of water damage inside the house.
