Hatch-Along - Setting eggs this weekend (Jan5/6) WHOS WITH ME!

Ahhh, just catching up....I love all the babies! Congrats everyone! Gracie- what a bird! So happy for you guys

I was out of town Sat night, Day 20, and guess what- one hatched! Just one of the 13. Now we are on Day 22 and still no others We pulled him yesterday morning since he dry and climbing all over the other eggs. One other pipped yest afternoon around 4, but still no progress. My little one is pretty lonely, so getting very spoiled by us. He cries really loud if he's awake and alone in the brooder. I finally put a little stuffed penguin in there with him and that seems to have helped.

Here's a pic of the egg that pipped yesterday. I hear chirping and a little movement, but hasn't started to zip at all.

Make sure you stay bundled up and keep warm... I heard incubators and brooders both give off a lot of heat, so you may want to stay close to them till you feel better!

Your little one is sooo cute! We only have one hatched so far. It is just about day 21 for us. Ours chirped like crazy before it fell asleep. I felt sad that there weren't any others for it to snuggle up to. I can't believe such a tiny thing can make so much noise!

Not that I can see. I hope at least one more decides to hatch. I got really excited with this one. It pipped zipped and hatched in less than 5 hours. Now nothing in any of the other eggs. This hatch is driving me nuts. I prefer going to bed at night and waking up to find chicks hatching in the incubator.
