Started with 24 catdance silkies think I'm down to 13 and then I have 5 ameraucana eggs given to me by a BYC member..They are staggered by 5 daysI go on lockdown on Sunday too - I can't wait! I know it's still 5+ days away but I'm ready for it! How many do you have set? I've got 23 currently progressing nicely.

Day 11
candled the eggs and had to remove 6 more eggs, luckily they were the eggs that I didn't think were developing. They were undeveloped on eggtopsy as well. Unfortunately they were my blue eggs. Only 1 out of 8 of the blue eggs is developing. I did see that of the ones I removed, two of them had mobile air cells. I'm assuming that they got "scrambled" during delivery.
I'm down to 19 of the original 34 eggs. I see a short dark line in two of my black copper maran eggs, not sure if blood line or normal vessel.![]()
So I have a question.... I have my eggs in the incubator and I currently have a brooder with 15 2 weeks old chicks I ordered from my pet chicken...Once my babies hatch can I put them in the same brooder? I will have a separated brooder set up, was thinking around 1 week old I would try to combine them...or should I try to keep them separate till I move them to the coop and integrate them all at that time?!
