Hatch-ALong - Setting first eggs 4/5, hatch day 4/26. Anyone want to join me?

I know what yo mean! Twenty one days seems like such a short period of time but I feel like the kid's who say: 'are we there yet, are we there yet.....'

Did you candle before lockdown?
Sorry. I'm so late. I've just been so busy. The answer to your question is that I did not candle before lockdown because I was too scared to find some dead, and I was worried about how it would affect them. Today when I got home, 2 out of the remaining 5 pipped. I am so excited and I can't wait to see what happens. How long until they will actually bust out?

I have a pip! It is one of the Silkies (no surprise there!) and it looks like it's my only surviving Partridge egg! It's making plenty of noise, peeping away and the pip is a good sized hole so it looks to be a vigorous (though early!) chick! So exciting!

I now have 3 pips total. No other progress as of yet.

Something got all the eggs from under the broody and left no evidence.

She is closed up at night but open during the day. I don't think she ate them herself but I suppose its possible. I won't put anymore under her. I'll console myself with the chicks that arrived Mon. from McMurray and wait for the crele polish and 2 barnvelder eggs set to hatch May 4.

Oh no! I'm so sorry. Hope you find out what happened. What kind of chicks did you get from McMurray?

We have our first pip! Have been hearing chirping for a few hours, and one of the RIR/EE eggs I got from my friend is pipped! Will be keeping my live stream going now as much as possible, if you all don't have enough to watch with your own incubators.

I got 5 salmon faverolles, 4 silver pencilled rocks, and (ended up with) 4 Silver grey dorkings. I think there is a lakenvelder thrown in. The faverolles are extremely fluffy and healthy. I'm looking forward to seeing how they all develop.
