I think the only thing that kept me from obsessively candling, is that early on I had my Broody separated in a place that was difficult for me to get into easily. So I had to bend, and squat and stretch, and then my light wasn't really that great and I then I worried I was disturbing Rowena too much...so...even though I am definitely the type who would love to have glass eggs so I could see EVERY SINGLE THING AT ALL TIMES...I kind of had to give in and realize it is not within my control :) I am living vicariously through other peoples candling updates though!

I have a pip and it's pretty far onto the side. Not sure if it's in the air cell. I'm hoping it is and that's the one that's cheeping. And now I have to go pick up my DD from school. Double argh!!!!! I'm hoping it doesn't suffocate.

I ended up helping the last 2 eggs hatch they had been pipped for so long and had ended up shrink wrapped. not sure why this happens to me but it does seem that in my incubator if they do a lg. pip and then rest for too long they dry out even though i have the humidity set for 70

so heres a pic of the 3 bcm in with the turkey poults and male chick warmers

. still waiting for the other 2 in the incubator to dry and rest after their ordeal.

Well we have at least 1 under broody!
We ended up being down to 4 eggs so I really hope we get a few more!
I am trying so hard not to go and annoy her..... So hard!
