My hatch is officially over. As of this morning, I have a mix of 10 BBS and BC Marans, 2 olive eggers and 1 of my own eggs. I had 3 that never pipped or made a sound, 1 pip in the wrong end and died, and 1 that had its beak turned in towards its body and not the egg and never pipped. The 3 that never did anything looked like they died at some point during the last day or 2. Large unabsorbed yolk but fully formed. They also seemed very moist inside but humidity ran at about 63% during lock down and no body else seemed to have a problem. Im sad that the 5 little ones didnt make it but pleased with the overall hatch. Onthe spot sent me these eggs from California, I'm in Ga. I tossed a clear one at day 7, 3 quitters on day 7, and 1 right before lockdown. So, not too shabby! I would love to get some of her blue olive eggers, hmmmm, is it to late to crank that thing back up!

My hatch is over. I didn't wait on the last 8 eggs. I knew something was wrong. 2 were not completely developed, 3 were developed, but still had the yolk intact, and 4 were fully formed, yolk absorbed, and shrink wrapped. I think the inconsistencies in the bator are to blame. All the eggs on the right side hatched, and the ones on the left died. Will be fixing the bator and trying again. Hoping for eggs from Onthespot, but don't know what her wait time is.

Also wanted to thank everyone for holding my hand virtually through all the hand-wringing and nail biting I did through the process, and I had broody hens so I had it easy! You were all so patient with this newbie with her head full of questions. Thank you all!
