Hatch date for Rouen eggs

How's the hatch going?...Its so exciting..!
I have 15 Call eggs due in January. I can't wait to see babies again.

They haven't made much progress. I think they are weak because it's later than the hatch date. I heard lot's of peeping last night, but 4 have pipped. All have the shell cracked and not the membrane. Thank you!

Ducks are lazy hatchers and it can be almost 24 hours from pip to zip...They sleep lots as the absorb the yolk..Best of luck. Do not assist too early

They're not weak, just late because of the low temperature If you use this incubator again, since it's still air and has no fan, set the temperature to 38.6 instead of 37.5, and they will hatch on time

Ducks are pretty slow hatchers. They can even take up to 48 hours from the time they externally pip to when they zip. Chances are good they're gonna hatch just fine on their own for you, but if you want to pass the time you can read this article about assisting while you wait:
