Hatch date june 1st, whos with me?

Getting close now! can't see very well into the bantam/chicken eggs so I will just cross my fingers for them

The duck eggs all seem to be doing well. Candled them last night due to a bad temperature fluctuation.

Almost lockdown time!

I heard peeping underneath my broody whos eggs are due today!

Keeping my fingers crossed that both "nature and bator" hatches go well

I heard peeping coming from a broody nest earlier and was totally confused at first. She is not due to hatch for at least 10 days, I think it's closer to 2 weeks. Upon examining I found the culprit...one of my game hen's 8 week old EE chicks apparently couldn't make it into the rafters tonight so she decided to find a 'new' mama for the evening

woke up to 2 pips in the duck eggs this am

I picked up three dozen supposed mix of all purebred eggs at a local farmer's auction that are due on the first or second. They were very reasonably priced.
But...I forgot them in the Blazer for two days as I was distracted taking care of the three pairs I had bought...and four black and white spotted half grown chicks I don't even know what they are. The pairs were pricey but the chicks were another bargain. All are doing well...

Anyway I had an empty incubator so I put the eggs in it. I'm going to be surprised if I get any at all. It was not hot in the car so they didn't get cooked. I never candled them...just turned them once in awhile. It is a batch that if any make it...it is a miracle.

My goose is sitting tight to her nest though she was off yesterday for a while. That doesn't mean she doesn't have pips though, I've had several birds leave pipped eggs and still have good hatches. I don't know what I'll do with the babies when they do hatch...I've already got 11 geese...I think that's enough!

Woke up to 1 duckling, 6 guineas, and 1 pheasant in the hatcher this morning...hoping for at least a few more ducks and pheasants...I hate singletons!

Good luck everyone! I have 3 duck pipped now. Cannot see into the bantam eggs I put in, so those will be a surprise whether they hatch or not! On another off topic, woke up to 8 healthy baby bunny kits!

4 pips in the eggs last night. one zipped out around 5 am, and another has their beak out should start zipping soon, the other two havent fully broken through yet, im resisting the urge to help.... Nothing from the chicken/bantam eggs yet..so we shall wait and see...its still early.
