Hatch date over

I still have not seen any more movement from the eggs. Why would there be movement from all the eggs one day and the next day no movement from any egg at all?

Help PLEASE.

Most duck eggs take 28 days to hatch. I would wait a couple of more days and see what happens. If the thermometer was off and the temp was a little low the eggs can take an extra day or two to hatch. I have had them not wiggle and thought they were dead then look the next morning and they have hatched. Good luck...

So we are 3 days past hatch date. Now what? What I don't understand is how there was movement from all 5 eggs on Saturday. Then on Sunday there was no movement from any egg at all. Do I wait longer? How long do I wait? I am at a loss. I am depressed and frustrated. Should I float the eggs? PLEASE HELP.

Go ahead and break lockdown, for your own mental health.

Get a cup of warm water, and do a float test.

I didn't realize still irs should be at 101...I've had mine at 99.5 and hve had hatches 2-3 days late...consistently.

OMG!!!!!! OMG! !!!!!!!! THEY ARE ALIVE!!!!!! I jyst got home and decided to candle. First one ..... it has started to go through air sack. #2, moving but not to air sack..3 & 4 beak is going through air sack. The three of them just have a tip through air sack. #5 not sure about, couldn't see too much on that one. BUT THEY ARE ALIVE AND TRYING TO COME OUT!!!!!!! So how long will this take? I am going to put a wet paper towel in because my humidity is down to around 63.

Could take a few more days yet. After pipping the shell, ducklings usually quiet down and do nothing for at least 36 hours before actually hatching. This 'rest' period is perfectly normal, so don't get worried that something's going wrong...
