Hatch day fears

So, it's obviously way too late for alien to hatch but I float tested again and had the same results. I know it's sad that I'm holding out hope but is there any chance? Another egg sunk but when candled there was movement.
So confused.

I don't have much hope for alien anymore it is now WAY too late for him.. So sorry you should do an eggtopsie to see what went wrong. Start with a small hole in the air sac and work your way through the egg from there. If you see any blood, veining, or movement, stop and put him back in the bator. But I would put your hope in this next set of eggs. Good luck!!!

How did they look when you candled them? An how late are they? Pics would be good, if possible. How did you buil your homemade bator? Does it have a constant temp and humidity? Did you turn the eggs all the appropriate times? Was there any damage to the eggs when you got them, or were they dirty, or did you wash them before putting them in? There are many variables that could effect the hatch. Also, did you do an eggtopsie on alien? Opening up that egg and seeing what went wrong can really help a lot with figuring what's wrong with the bator/ next batch.

Bator rip just a wooden box lined with plastic, probably way too big though. Temp fluctuates a few degrees as I adjust it manually. Couldn't afford a thermostat. Turned the eggs three times a day and washed my hands almost every time (missed two I think...) eggs weren't damaged or dirty, and I didn't wash them. They were my hen's first eggs.
Next batch are two days late. The one that looks best has lots of visible veins and movement.
